In the process of carrying out drilling operations, there is a high probability of well leakage accidents, mainly in the form of drilling fluid or cement slurry sliding down the pipeline to the bottom of the well, the silt makes the bottom layer clogging is not conducive to construction. The reasons for this situation are mainly categorized into the following situations:
(1) the bottom layer may not have enough anti-rupture pressure, so the bottom layer surface cracks or cavities, and the pore density is too large, with very strong permeability, resulting in a well leakage phenomenon
(2) Wrong construction technology. If in the construction process, the drilling speed of mechanical equipment is faster than the speed of soil layer shedding, or the density of drilling fluid is too high, these are the reasons for the downhole pressure to become larger. The above are classic cases of accidents, and such accidents are the root cause of the continuous decrease in the capacity of drilling fluid.
(3) If the well leakage accident is serious, it will cause the drilling fluid not to circulate normally, which will reduce the efficiency of drilling operation, and in the long run, it will lead to the blowout phenomenon.
(4) In order to avoid such problems, it is necessary to develop a scientific and reasonable way to fill and plug, or to improve the performance of drilling fluid to deal with the problem of well leakage.
